摘要： A field rephaseable metering device is provided including at least three distribution buses (50, 52, 54) including two side buses (50, 54) and a center bus (52), the center bus (52) having a vertical center line (601). At least one meter socket (30) is provided having a vertical center line (603) offset from the vertical center line (601) of said center bus, (52) each meter socket including a first line terminal (68) and a second line terminal (68). At least two line straps (62, 64) are provided, each having a first end (50) configured for connecting with one of the first or second line terminals, and a second elongate end (96) configured to be selectively connectable to one of the side buses (50, 54) associated with its line terminal or the center bus (52). When each line strap (62, 64) is positioned to connect one of the line terminals with one of the distribution buses, a longitudinal axis (405) of each line strap is substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis (501) of each distribution bus.

摘要： The invention provides a meter socket assembly (10) for a watt-hour meter with removable and changeable meter jaws. The meter socket assembly comprises a meter base (100), at least one meter jaw assembly (200, 200', 300, 300') with an optional 5th terminal device (500). The assemblies are snapped on to the meter base and locked into the meter base. Any meter jaw assembly in the meter socket device is able to be removed or changed by simply loosening a connection nut and then releasing the meter jaw assembly by pressing a cross locking tab. The meter base, mounted to enclosure of a meter socket device or a meter socket module, is also changeable. The meter socket device is suitable for a meter socket with line and load busing connections, especially modular metering devices.
