The inflation work station (600) includes a working device (602) having an end effecter (606). The end effecter (606) includes a wheel-engaging plunger member (616), a retaining apparatus (612) connected to the wheel-engaging plunger member (616), and an inflation apparatus (614) connected to the wheel-engaging plunger member (616). The retaining apparatus (612) includes at least one tire-engaging portion (612a, 612b) extending from a retaining apparatus base member (620). The inflation apparatus (614) includes at least one inflation probe (614a, 614b, 614a', 614b') extending from an inflation apparatus base member (630). A method for operating an inflation work station (600) is also disclosed.

The tire/wheel bead entrapment remover (100, 200) includes one or more working assemblies (102a, 102b) having a circumferential perimeter (103a, 103b) that substantially engages a tire (12). The one ore more working assemblies (102a, 102b) axially-moves one of a wheel (14) of the tire (12) mounted to the wheel (14) while axially-fixing the other of the tire (12) or the wheel (14) to remove one or more entrapments (B) between a bead (22) of the tire (12) and a beat seat (24) of the wheel (14). According to an embodiment, a tire/wheel bead entrapment remover (300, 400) includes one or more wheels (308a, 308b, 408a, 408b) that engages an outboard surface (16) or an inboard surface (18) of a tire (12) mounted to a wheel (14). The radial axis (R-R) extends through the one or more wheels (308a, 308b). The radial axis (R-R) traverses a radial line (X) that radially extends from a common axis of rotation (A-A) of the tire (12) and the wheel (14).
