摘要： A safety and interlock system for use with an automatic bowling pinsetter is provided. In one embodiment, a safety interlock system is provided comprising a bowling pinsetter, a masking unit, a sensor configured to provide an indication after the masking unit is moved from a first position, and circuitry configured to disable the bowling pinsetter in response to the indication provided by the sensor. In another embodiment, a safety interlock system is provided comprising a bowling pinsetter defining a bowling pinsetter area, a sensor positioned to detect movement into the bowling pinsetter area, and circuitry configured to disable the bowling pinsetter in response to an indication provided by the sensor.

摘要： The invention relates generally to the conditioning of bowling lanes, and, more particularly to an apparatus and method for automatically applying a predetermined pattern of dressing fluid along the transverse and longitudinal dimensions of a bowling lane. In one of the exemplary embodiments, the conditioning system comprises of a cleaning system (120) having a telescoping cleaning fluid delivery nozzles (124) and a dressing application system (140) having a buffer (106) and precision delivery injectors (232).

Also disclosed is a bowling lane conditioning machine (100) with a display device located on a housing (110) and an input device (190, 200) located on a handle (130), and/or with a first input device (190) located on a handle and a second input device (200) located on a housing (110). Further disclosed is bowling lane conditioning machine (100) with two processors that operate independently from one another: one that controls a lane dressing fluid application system, and the other that provides a graphic user interface.
