This is done by pressing the bead shoulder (8) into the pipe (1) to form a first narrowing (44), and a second narrowing (43) is formed in the pipe by pressing the cylindrical section (3) at a distance from the first narrowing (44) such that the shaping of the second narrowing (43) is separated from the first (44) in such a way that the first narrowing (44) has a radially outwardly projecting section (47) towards the second.
