    • Methods, mediums, systems, and devices for redundant monitoring are disclosed. One method of providing redundancy in an environmental monitoring device includes combining a first sensor, one or more redundant sensors, and a plurality of control logic components; monitoring a selected environmental condition using the plurality of sensors; measuring the selected environmental condition using the plurality of sensors each reporting to a particular control logic component among the plurality of control logic components, each of the plurality of control logic components monitoring a sequence of such measurements; and correlating corresponding monitored measurements from the sequence of measurements of each of the plurality of control logic components and determining whether a difference exists between the corresponding monitored measurements of each of the plurality of control logic components.

    • One apparatus embodiment includes an electronic assembly, equipped to sense one or more changes in an environmental condition. The assembly includes a logic circuit coupled to: one or more environmental sensors, memory that provides data storage, and a wireless communicator. The logic circuit is configured to perform time measurement, perform environmental measurement with the one or more environmental sensors, store time-stamped environmental data in the memory, and communicate with particular other electronic assemblies, equipped to sense one or more changes in an environmental condition, via the wireless communicator. The logic circuit is also coupled to a power source that provides power to at least one of the logic circuit and the wireless communicator.

    • A system and method are disclosed for monitoring environmental conditions of a perishable product. The system includes an environmental sensor configured to sense one or more environmental conditions of the perishable product and an analog integrator in communication with the environmental sensor, the analog integrator being formed on a polymer substrate and including one or more tunable components. The system also includes a comparator in communication with the analog integrator and configured to change state when an output of the analog integrator reaches a selected threshold level, and a control module in communication with the comparator and the analog integrator. The control module is configured to control the operation of the analog integrator based on an output of the comparator.
