摘要： A rust-preventive steel sheet for fuel tanks having on the surface thereof an alloy layer containing at least one of Ni, Fe, Zn and Sn and having a layer thickness of at most 2 mu m per each side and, formed thereon, a tin-zinc alloy plating layer comprising 40-99 wt.% Sn and 60-1 wt.% Zn, containing at most 20/0.25 mm of zinc crystals with a major diameter of 250 mu m or above, and having a layer thickness of 2-50 mu m per each side, the steel sheet as the base metal containing, on the weight basis, at most 0.1 % C, at most 0.1 % Si, 0.05-1.2 % Mn, at most 0.04 % P, at most 0.1 % Al, optionally at least one of B, Ti, Nb and Cr, and the balance consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities; and a process for producing the sheet which comprises precoating an annealed steel sheet with Ni and Ni-Fe alloy in a Ni content of 0.1-3.0 g/m , coating the sheet with a flux containing 2-45 wt.% (in terms of chlorine) of hydrochloric acid, and plating the sheet by dipping the same in an alloy bath composed of 40-99 wt.% Sn and 60-1 wt.% Zn at a bath temperature ranging from the melting point of the alloy plus 20 DEG C to the melting point plus 300 DEG C for a period of less than 15 sec.

摘要： An easily openable metallic can lid and a method of manufacturing the same, in which a guide groove in the can lid for opening is S-shaped in cross section to improve an opening property, generation of resin film defects in molding process is eliminated, and repair coating on inner and outer surfaces of the can lid is unnecessary. When an opening piece, which is easily opened by a hand of a user, is formed on the metallic can lid, a property of a resin film on a metallic sheet, shapes, dimensions and clearance of shoulders on a punch and a die, a retained thickness of a guide groove for opening, a degree of press-back work and the like are specified to form a guide groove for opening, which is S-shaped in cross section, without breaking the resin film, thereby attaining a superior opening property.

摘要： A method of manufacturing an easily openable can lid of a resin laminated metal plate, consisting of the steps of subjecting a resin laminated metal plate for easily openable can lids, which is composed of a metal plate or a surface-treated metal plate one or both surfaces of which are laminated with a crystalline saturated polyester resin film of a thickness of 10-100 mu m, elongation of not less than 150 % and crystal melting heat at a crystallinity of not more than 10 % of not less than 10 joule/g to composite extrusion molding using upper and lower metal molds having a radius of round shoulders of 0.1-1.0 mm so as to form a cut guide groove of a thickness of its remaining uncut bottom portion of not more than 1/2 of the thickness of the raw metal plate, and thereafter heat treating the crystalline saturated polyester resin layer around the cut guide groove at a temperature not lower than the cold crystallization starting temperature and lower than the melting point thereof; and easily openable can lid obtained by this method; and a resin laminated metal plate used to obtain the can lid.
