摘要： The invention relates to an optical filter comprising a transparent substrate layer, a number of units, each unit comprising a metal oxide layer and a silver containing layer and an additional metal oxide layer. The metal oxide layers have a refractive index of at least 2.40 at a wavelength of 500 nm. The optical filter according to the present invention has a visual light transmittance (VLT) higher than 65 % and a transmittance at 820 nm lower than 10 %. The invention further relates to the use of an optical filter for the shielding of electromagnetic interference and near-infrared radiation of a plasma display panel.
