    • The present invention describes an access node (140, 200) for communication in a telecommunication network comprising: an input/output unit (210) adapted for receiving a first information message, wherein the first information message comprises a logical address associated with a virtual network node, a processing unit (230) for extracting the logical address of the virtual network node and for determining a hardware address associated with the logical address of the virtual network node, where the processing unit (230) is further adapted for a determining a logical address of an end-user host (110, 112 communicating with the virtual network node, wherein the access node (140) is configured to transmit a second information message comprising the logical and hardware address of the virtual network node to the logical address of the end-user host (110, 112). Also, a network infrastructure (100) where the access node (140, 200) is operating, is described. The access node (140, 200) also implements a method of the present invention by means of a computer program comprising instruction sets for implementing the method steps of the invention.

    • An Ethernet Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer, DSLAM, (33) and method of dynamically creating a service binding in the Ethernet DSLAM based on a service selection made by an end-user (31). The end-user may use the PPPoE or IEEE802.1X access protocols to provide login credentials indicating the desired service. The login credentials are validated towards a RADIUS server (40), and this server configures the Ethernet DSLAM (33) with the attributes of the service binding, including an identified Permanent Virtual Circuit, PVC, (12) to carry the desired service. The Ethernet DSLAM may map service-VLANs to user MAC addresses (34), or may map service-VLANs to user-VLANs (62) to establish the service binding. The Ethernet DSLAM uses the identified PVC for downstream traffic for the corresponding service binding and thereby "trains" a learning bridge network terminal to use the correct PVC for upstream traffic.

    • An access node (EDAl) is connected to end-users (EUl, EU2) , routers (R1,R2,R3) and a DHCP-server (DHl) . The end-user (EUl) defines desired services provided via the routers. A purpose is to automatically provide simultaneous access to services via two or more of the routers, although the end- user (EUl) simultaneously handles only one router. The connections are secure. The end-user requests (RQl) one of the services. The access node identifies the end-user (EUl) and sends a corresponding request (RQ2) to the DHCP- server (DHl) , which dynamically allocates addresses to the end-user and to all the routers for the desired services. The access node snoops the addresses in a DHCP otption 121 message (RPl) from the DHCP-server (DHl) , resolves the router addresses, stores IP router addresses and IP MAC addresses in a memory (TABl) and sets MAC addresses in MAC filters (MX, MY, MZ) . An option 3 reply (RP2) with one router (Rl) is sent to the end-user (EUl) , which after request for one service reaches all the services stored in the memory (TABl) .
