    • The present invention relates to a sensor used together with a detector to measure biomaterial, and to an apparatus using same. A sensor for measuring biomaterial according to the present invention comprises: a body portion with a three-dimensional shape, having a biomaterial introduction hole, and attachable and detachable to/from a detector; a sensor portion with a plurality of reaction electrodes formed on one surface thereof for causing a biochemical reaction in a biomaterial, and a plurality of transfer electrodes formed on the other surface thereof for transferring a biochemical-response-generated signal to the detector; and an analyzer reagent fixed above the reaction electrodes to biochemically respond to a biomaterial. The sensor portion, together with the body portion, forms a reaction chamber connected to the biomaterial introduction hole, and is attached to the body portion such that the reaction electrodes are oriented toward the reaction chamber. According to the present invention, attachment and detachment is easy, even for the elderly, and the contamination of the sensor can be minimized.

    • The present invention relates to an apparatus for irradiating skin using light for preventing the eyes of a user from being exposed to medical light. The apparatus for irradiating skin with light according to the present invention may comprise: an input unit for a user input; a light source unit which includes at least two colored light sources and which irradiates the skin of the user using the medical light; a contact sensor provided at the periphery of the light source unit; and a controller for controlling the intensity of the light radiated from the light source unit according to whether or not skin contact is detected by the contact sensor, wherein the controller can control the intensity of the light from the light source unit in at least two stages before and after the skin contact is detected. Therefore, the present invention has the advantage of increased stability since the eyes of the user are not exposed to high-intensity medical light.

    • The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring biomaterial, which selectively and quantitatively analyzes specific material in a biosample, and to a method for manufacturing same. The measuring apparatus of the present invention comprises: a first substrate, one side of which has a recess; a second substrate having a plurality of reaction electrodes in which a biochemical reaction to a biomaterial occurs, and a plurality of delivery electrodes for delivering signals generated by the biochemical reaction to a detection device; and an analysis reagent located in the recess to bring about a biochemical reaction with the biomaterial. The second substrate is attached to the first substrate such that a portion of the recess forms a sample inlet, the recess cooperates with at least one edge of the second substrate to form a vent slit, and the reaction electrodes are directed toward the recess. The thus-configured apparatus of the present invention enables a capillary gap for introducing the sample to be formed through a remarkably simple manufacturing process. In addition, the present invention enables air in the capillary to be thoroughly and quickly discharged to the outside when the sample is introduced into the capillary, thereby increasing the speed of introducing the sample.
