    • A hand-held test meter for use with an analytical test strip (such as an electrochemical-based analytical test strip) for the determination of an analyte (e.g., glucose) in a bodily fluid sample, the hand-held test meter including a housing with an analytical test strip contact pressure feature, a printed circuit board (PCB) with at least one solder bump disposed in the housing. The housing of the hand-held test meter is configured for the insertion of an analytical test strip therein.
