    • This invention relates to a top mount method, a top mount system (41) and a combination of forklift truck (1) and carrying vehicle (5) having such a top mount system. The top mount method differs from the known methods in that the forklift truck lifting assembly (11) at least is provided with a remote control unit (33) to permit the operator of the forklift to mount the forklift onto the carrying vehicle (5) from a position remote from the forklift. The top mount system (41) comprises a track (7) having a carriage (9) slidably mounted therein and a ram (49) for moving the carriage relative the track. This obviates the need to use the drive of the forklift under remote operation. Finally, there is provided a combination of a forklift and a carrying vehicle having the top mount system which together provide a useful and safer alternative to the known combinations.

    • A lamp (1) for illuminating fish farms to promote plant and organism growth, having an elongate watertight housing (2) having first and second ends and a sidewall; a light source (3) within the housing arranged to emit light from the housing; a port (4) in the housing to allow ingress of water when the lamp is submerged in water; and a heat-dissipating element (5) having an elongate heat dissipating body extending into the housing to dissipate heat generated by the light source. The heat dissipating body (5) has an internally located conduit (11) which is in fluid communication with the port (4) in a watertight arrangement so that when the lamp (1) is submerged, water comes in through the port (4) flows internally into the heat dissipating body via the conduit (11) so that the heat dissipating element (5) is cooled by internally circulating water. Halogen bulbs (3) can be used.

    • This invention relates to a mounting kit (1, 51 ) for fitting on the rear of a carrier vehicle chassis (70) to receive a piggyback forklift truck having a pair of front wheels and a pair of height adjustable, forwardly projecting, load engaging tines (73). The mounting kit comprises a mounting frame having a pair of tine receiving sockets (35, 37), a pair of forklift support receiving brackets (15, 17) and a pair of adjustable wheel abutment plates (19, 21 ), one on each side of the tine receiving sockets, moveable forwards and backwards parallel to the longitudinal axis of the carrier vehicle. By having such an arrangement, various different forms of piggyback forklift truck may be mounted onto a chassis having the mounting kit thereon.
