    • The alignment films formed at the two display panels are alignment-­treated, and spacers are formed on one of the two panels. A first sealant with a liquid crystal injection hole is formed on the one of the two panels, and a second sealant is formed around the first sealant in the shape of a closed curve. Thereafter, the two panels are delivered into a panels assembling chamber, and aligned to each other. The chamber is evacuated to be in a vacuum state, and the room surrounded by the two panels and the second sealant is sealed through closely adhering the two panels to each other under the vacuum atmosphere. Air is fed into the chamber while breaking the vacuum state of the chamber except for the room surrounded by the two panels and the sealant, thereby attaching the two panels to each other. The first and the second sealants are hardened to thereby complete a liquid crystal panel assembly. The first and the second sealants may be formed with a thermal hardening material or an ultraviolet ray hardening material. The first and the second sealants may be hardened using a thermal hardening unit or an ultraviolet ray illumination unit installed internal or external to the chamber.

    • The present invention comprises a slab carrier (A) wherein: tubular supporting bodies (12)(14) are integrally formed projecting forwards on the left and right of an upright wall body (10) securely joined to the front rising-and-falling body (4) of a large forklift truck (2); inserted in the left and right supporting bodies (12)(14) there are left and right operating mounts (16)(18) which are formed with grippers (16a)(18a) on downwardly bent front ends and which can extend and retreat forwards and backwards; positioned below the left and right tubular supporting bodies (12)(14) there are respective drive cylinders (20) which advance and retract rods (20a) connected by a link to linking parts (38) that double as stoppers on the grippers (16a)(18a) of the left and right operating mounts (16)(18); the drive cylinders (20) are protected by means of protective casings (39) functioning as stoppers; the rear edges of the drive cylinders (20) are connected by a link to the upright wall body (10); there are respective bite units (24) on the surfaces of which are formed frictional projections (25), whereby a slab (6) is clamped onto the inside surfaces of projecting parts (22) formed connected to the upright wall body (10) underneath the drive cylinders (20) and the inside surfaces of the grippers (16a)(18a) of the operating mounts (16)(18); and the upright wall body (10) is formed with an open window (26) cut away such that the driver on the large forklift truck can have a good view of the slab (6) in the clamping operating state, and hence slabs can be carried in a highly convenient and safe fashion since the invention maximises the strength for lifting very heavy slabs of several tons or tens of tons stored in the open.
