摘要： The invention is directed to a delivery system (300) for delivering a medical device 8400). The delivery system includes an inner member (10) having a proximal end (12) and a distal end (14). The inner member defines a longitudinal axis between the proximal end and the distal end. A tip is formed at the distal end of the inner member. A bumper is freely disposed on the inner member. The bumper has a proximal end and a distal end. A seat is defined between the tip and the distal end of the bumper. Additionally, a sheath is disposed about the inner member, the sheath having a proximal end and a distal end. The sheath is movable from a first sheath position substantially covering the seat, and a second sheath position axially offset to expose the seat. The invention also includes a handle in contact with the proximal end of the inner member.

摘要： The invention is directed to a delivery system for delivering a medical device. The delivery system includes an inner member. Additionally, a sheath is disposed about the inner member. The sheath is movable from a first sheath position substantially covering the seat, and a second sheath position axiall offset to expose the seat. The invention also includes a handle in contact with the proximal end of the inner member and an actuator (290) with a rack-and-pinion assembly (300, 296, 298) to move the sheath with respect to the inner member, configured to increase a deployment rate of movement for th sheath, wherein the ratio of movement of the sheath to the movement of the actuator may be greater than 1:1. The ratio of movement may vary. The actuato may include two different gears to provide two different deployment rates, where the first gear may be a sun gear and the second gear may be a planetary gear.

摘要： Devices, systems, and methods for suturing of body lumens allow the suturing of vascular puncture sites located at the distal end of a percutaneous tissue tract. An elongated articulated foot (24) near a distal end of a shaft (12) is inserted through the penetration and actuated so that the foot extends along the lumenal axis. The foot carries suturing attachment cuffs (52), and needles (38) are advanced from the shaft through the vessel wall outside of the penetration and into engagement with the needle cuffs after the foot has been drawn proximally up against the endothelial surface of the blood vessel. The suture (34) may be provided with a bight (80) between first and second ends, the bight including one or more loops prearranged to define a pre-tied knot when one or more ends of the suture past therethrough.
