    • Disclosed is an electrolytic sterilizer, which adopts a combination serial and parallel connection manner using a mesh-type electrode, and a method of remote monitoring and controlling the same. The object of the present invention is to provide the electrolytic sterilizer. In the electrolytic sterilizer, all of the discharged water flows between the electrode plates and is completely electrolyzed between the electrode plates, thereby improving electrolytic efficiency. The electrolytic sterilizer has a structure in which discharged water flows through mesh-type anodes and cathodes so as to reduce fluid resistance, thus water flows smoothly between the narrow electrodes. Since a serial connection structure is formed using the mesh-type electrodes, electric stability is excellent. It is possible to continuously conduct a polarity reversal operation using the anode and cathode both made of a catalytic oxide electrode, thereby preventing contamination f the electrodes and maintaining the soundness of the electrode plates for a long time. Another object of the present invention is to provide the method of remote monitoring and controlling a plurality of electrolytic sterilizers which are provided at different locations. The electrolytic sterilizer, which adopts a combination serial and parallel connection manner using mesh-type electrodes and in which a direct current supplied from a rectifier is applied to anode and cathode plates to sterilize, using electrolysis, water discharged from a final stage of a sewage treatment plant and which then discharges the sterilized water, comprises a plurality of partitions, which is provided parallel to a flow direction of the discharged water to divide the discharged water into a plurality of streams and to arrange the mesh-type electrodes in series; and a plurality of mesh-type electrodes, which is provided perpendicular to the flow direction of the discharged water between the partitions so that the plurality of mesh-type electrodes is serially connected and the serially connected electrodes are parallel connected to a rectifier through current leaders.
