    • The present invention relates to a side curtain airbag and an airbag system comprising the same. The side curtain airbag according to the present invention comprises an inflating part (4a, b) having gas inflatability, a non-inflating part supporting the inflating part (4a, b), and an adhered part (2) constituting a boundary between the inflating part (4a, b) and the non-inflating part. The adhered part (2) is coated with a seam sealant (3) and sewed (5). The initial maximum pressure of the inflating part (4a, b) is 40 KPa or more when injecting a gas therein with an instant pressure of at least 10 bar, and the pressure after 6 seconds is 25 KPa or more. The side curtain airbag according to the present invention optimizes to apply the method of seam sealant coating (3) and sewing (5) on the adhered part (2) constituting a boundary between the inflating part (4a, b) and the non-inflating part. Thus, it can keep the internal gas pressure of the airbag to the extent of protecting passengers safely at rollover.

The present invention can block the gas leaking from the co-woven part effectively, when the airbag is inflated by the gas, to improve the perfomace for maintaing the internal pressure of the double-layered fabric.

    • Method and apparatus for producing a multi-ply corrugated paperboard (105) by repeatedly laminating multi-ply corrugated mediums (102, 103) with different pitches and widths between top and bottom liners is disclosed. This invention thins the paperboard and improves the compressive strength of the paperboard so as to substantially reduce the package volume. In the process for producing the multi-ply corrugated paperboard, a first corrugated medium (102) is continuously laminated to a liner (101), thereby forming a single-ply paperboard. The first corrugated medium (102) has predetermined flute pitch and flute peak height. Thereafter, a second corrugated medium (103) is continuously laminated to the single-ply paperboard, thereby forming the multi-ply corrugated paperboard (105) having improved shock absorptivity and compressive strength against a vertical load. The second corrugated medium has optionally selected flute pitch and flute peak height.
