摘要： The invention concerns a xylenes isomerization process for the production of equilibrium or near-equilibrium xylenes. The process utilizes a catalyst comprising HZSM-5 or MCM-49 and process conditions including a temperature of less than 295°C and a pressure sufficient to maintain the xylenes in liquid phase. In embodiments, the process can be operated in a continuous mode with ppm levels of dissolved H2 in the feed and in other embodiments in a cyclic mode without the H2 in feed but with periodic regenerations using a feed having low ppm levels of H2.

摘要： This disclosure relates to a catalyst composition comprising (a) a crystalline MCM-49 molecular sieve; and (b) a binder comprising at least 1 wt.% of a titanium compound. In one aspect of this disclosure, the titanium compound comprises at least one of titanium oxide, titanium hydroxide, titanium sulfate, titanium phosphate, or any combination thereof. In another aspect of this disclosure, the catalyst composition further comprises a crystalline MCM-22 family molecular sieve comprising at least one of MCM-22, MCM-36, MCM-49, MCM-56, ITQ-I, ITQ-2, ITQ-30, PSH-3, ERB-I, SSZ-25, or any combination thereof. In other embodiments, this disclosure relates to a process for preparing the catalyst composition of this disclosure, the process comprises (a) providing the crystalline MCM-49 molecular sieve and the binder comprising at least 1 wt.% of a titanium compound to form a mixture; and (b) forming the mixture into the catalyst composition. In a preferred embodiment, the forming step comprises extruding. In yet other embodiments, this disclosure discloses a process for alkylating an aromatic hydrocarbon with an alkylating agent to produce an alkylated aromatic product by contacting the aromatic hydrocarbon and the alkylating agent with the catalyst composition.

A bed or partial bed of hydrotreating catalyst can be placed in a position to serve as a post-dewaxing hydrotreatment catalyst. Such a post-hydrotreatment catalyst can assist in removing organic sulfur that is generated during catalytic dewaxing.

The dewaxing catalysts include at least two zeolites, including a zeolite with a low silica to alumina ratio. The catalysts may be combined with a low surface binder, or alternatively the catalysts as formulated may have a high ratio of zeolite surface area to external surface area.

摘要： A diesel fuel product with beneficial cold flow properties can be produced. A suitable feedstock for forming a diesel boiling range product can be hydrotreated to have a sulfur content of at least about 100 wppm and then dewaxed. This two stage process can allow for production of an arctic or winter diesel without use of high pressures. Optionally, a divided wall column fractionator can be used to allow a single separation stage to handle the effluent from both the hydroprocessing and the dewaxing stages.
