    • Basketball return apparatus (10) for use with a basketball goal (12) and which is easily moved to return a ball to a shooter in any of many different locations with respect to the basketball goal. A lightweight frame (16) supports a net (18) surrounding a basketball goal (12) and is arranged to direct a ball into a ball return chute (52) which can be moved to be close to a shooter. Sensors are arranged to detect and count shots that pass through the goal and to count all shots that are made, and a display device (106) may be set to show the shooter's score and percentage of successful shots made. A sensor (124) is utilized in one embodiment to follow a signaling device (126) carried by a shooter and a system is provided to drive the ball return apparatus in azimuth angle (α) and amount of extension of the ball return chute (52) so as to follow a shooter.

    • A portable, adjustable golf training and teaching device when attached to the golfers hat, assists in head, chin, spine and eye adjustment. The present invention can be adjusted in the address or set-up position to allow the players shoulders to rotate freely under the chin unrestricted, also maximizes the shoulder rotation during the backswing. With the device attached to the brim of a golfer's hat and the viewing holes properly set, the device produces a stereo or three dimensional view of the containment area around the golf ball to allow the golfer to monitor any movement in the golf swing. The present invention allows the golfer to view the target and the ball in flight after being struck. The device can be used to train, practice and play on the golf course.

    • In a first aspect, a vibration management device comprises a tool sensor couplable to a tool and a vibration monitor couplable to a tool operator. The tool sensor comprises a vibration sensor arranged to generate a vibration signal indicative of the magnitude of vibration of the tool and an RF transmitter arranged to transmit data indicative of the magnitude of tool vibration. The vibration monitor comprises an RF receiver arranged to receive the data indicative of the magnitude of tool vibration and a processor arranged to update a vibration exposure value as a function of the data indicative of the magnitude of tool vibration and the duration of tool vibration. The processor provides a first output signal to an operator if the vibration exposure value exceeds a first exposure threshold. In a second aspect, a vibration management device comprises a mount couplable to a tool and a vibration monitor couplable to the mount. The vibration monitor is arranged to receive tool identification data stored within the mount when the vibration monitor is coupled to the mount. The tool identification data includes a tool vibration magnitude rating. The vibration monitor comprises a vibration sensor arranged to provide a vibration signal indicating whether vibration of the vibration monitor exceeds a first magnitude threshold indicating that the tool is in use. The vibration monitor is arranged to update a vibration exposure value as a function of the tool vibration magnitude rating received from the mount and the duration for which the vibration signal exceeds the first magnitude threshold. The vibration monitor provides a first output signal to an operator if the vibration exposure value exceeds a first exposure threshold. The vibration monitor comprises a first socket and the mount comprises a corresponding second socket arranged such that when the vibration monitor is coupled to the mount the first and second sockets are coupled together such that data may be transmitted between the vibration monitor and the mount.
