摘要： A closure (11) is disclosed for a container (10). The container (10) comprises a base (13) and a peripheral wall (15). A rim (16) forms an upper margin of the wall (15) and surrounds an opening of the container. An external protrusion (25) is formed integrally with and surrounds the rim. A portion (14) of the closure (11) is adapted to overlie the opening of the container. A skirt (20) is formed integrally with the closure portion and is arranged to surround the rim when the closure is mounted to the container. The skirt comprises a first portion (21) that is positionable adjacent to and to surround an external upper end of the rim. The skirt further comprises a second portion (22) that is connected to the first portion at a connection (23') and that extends downwardly therefrom to surround the rim below its upper end. The second portion also comprises an integrally formed first ledge (24) located therewithin that is positionable to locate in interlocking engagement with the external protrusion (25). The connection has a width W sufficiently greater than its thickness so as to facilitate pivoting of the second portion (22) with respect to the first portion (21) to enable disengagement of the first ledge (24) from the external protrusion (25). The second portion (22) can also comprise a continuous and unbroken profile moving around the closure (11).

摘要： A closure (11) for a container (10) is disclosed. The container comprises a base (13) and peripheral wall (15) with a rim (16) forming an upper margin of the wall and surrounding an opening of the container. An external protrusion (32) is formed integrally with and surrounds the rim. A portion (14) of the closure is adapted to overlie the opening of the container. A skirt (20) is formed integrally with the closure portion and is arranged to surround the rim when the closure is mounted to the container. The skirt comprises a first portion (21) positionable adjacent to and to surround an external upper end of the rim, and a second portion (22) that is connected to the first portion at a connection (23). The second portion extends downwardly from the first portion to surround the rim below its upper end. The second portion comprises an integrally formed first ledge (40) located therewithin, with the first ledge being positionable to locate in interlocking engagement with the external protrusion. At least one region of deformability (24, 25) is defined in the second portion at a location away from the connection such that, with the closure mounted on the container, the at least one region can deform to facilitate pivoting of the second portion with respect to the first portion to disengage the first ledge from the external bead.

摘要： A container-closure arrangement comprises a container (10) having a base (13) and peripheral wall (15). A rim (16) forms an upper margin of the wall surrounding the container opening. An external bead (17) is formed integrally with the rim, and an internal bead (20) is formed integrally with the rim projecting inwardly of the container. The closure (11) has a closure portion that includes a central region (14), and is adapted to overlie the opening of the container opening. A skirt (30) is formed integrally with the closure portion and surrounds the rim when the closure is mounted to the container. The skirt comprises a first portion (32) to surround the rim, and a second portion (34) comprising a band frangibly connected to and extending downwardly from the first portion to surround the rim. The second portion has a first ledge (40) located within and formed integrally therewith, the first ledge being located in interlocking engagement with the external bead (17). A second ledge (42,42') is formed integrally with the closure portion and located in interlocking engagement with the internal bead (20). The second portion can be detached from the first portion to enable its removal from the closure and from its interlocking engagement with the container external bead. The container may also comprise an integral container flange (24) extending out from the container wall below the rim. An extra sealing projection and recess may be included. The central region may include a stacking skirt supported on an internal step.

摘要： There is provided a closure for a container containing a flowable substance, the closure comprising a cover arranged to overfit the opening of the container. The closure further comprises a spout formed integral with the cover and arranged so as to be offset from a central axis of the cover; a recess formed integral with the cover and arranged so as to receive the spout therein. The spout is arranged so as to be movable between a retracted position whereby the spout is received within the recess so as to obstruct discharge of the substance; and, an extended position whereby the spout projects outward of the recess so as to allow discharge of the substance.
