摘要： The present invention provides formulations and methods for the stabilization of antibodies. In one embodiment, the invention provides the stable solution formulation of an IgG1 antibody that specifically binds to insulin-like growth factor-I receptor. In another embodiment, the invention provides methods of stabilization of IgG1 antibody that specifically binds to insulin-like growth factor-I receptor comprising lyophilizing an aqueous formulation of the antibody. The formulations can be lyophilized to stabilize the antibodies during processing and storage, and then the formulations can be reconstituted for pharmaceutical administration.

The antagonists can further be administered in combination with other anti- angiogenic or anti-neoplastic drugs.

Antibodies include whole immunoglobulins, monovalent Fabs and single chain antibodies, multivalent single chain antibodies, diabodies, triabodies, and single domain antibodies. The invention further provides nucleic acids and host cells that encode and express these antibodies. 摘要： Vaccine formulations which provide for active or passive immunity against infection by pathogens. The active component of the vaccines of the present invention comprises a monoclonal antibody or a fragment of the monoclonal antibody which contains the idiotype of the molecule. Vaccine formulations which provide for active immunization of a host against a particular pathogen, are prepared using monoclonal antibodies or idiotypic fragments that bear the conformational image of a specific receptor of the pathogen. Vaccine formulations which provide for passive immunity are prepared from anti-idiotypic antibodies or idiotypic fragments thereof that bear the conformational image of a ligand that binds specifically to a receptor of the pathogen. In either approach, the pathogen is not required to prepare the antibody which comprises the active component of the vaccine formulation.
