    • A transmitting/receiving system and a data processing method of the same are disclosed herein. The receiving system may include a receiving unit, a signaling decoder, and an FIC handler. The receiving unit receives a broadcast signal including mobile service data configuring a data group. Herein, a transmission frame consists of multiple sub-frames, a sub-frame consists of multiple slots, and the data group is allocated to at least one slot. The signaling decoder acquires an FIC segment from the broadcast signal. Herein the FIC segment consists of an 35-byte FIC segment payload including a portion of signaling information between at least one ensemble and at least one mobile service, and an 2-byte FIC segment header including current/next (C/N) indication information indicating whether data of the FIC segment payload corresponds to information of a current transmission frame or to information of a next transmission frame. The FIC handler recovers at least one of an FIC chunk including signaling information between at least one ensemble and at least one mobile service of the current transmission frame and an FIC chunk including signaling information between at least one ensemble and at least one mobile service of the next transmission frame, from the payload of each FIC segment by using the C/N indication information.

    • A receiving system and data processing method therein are disclosed, by which mobile service data is received and processed. The receiving system comprises a tuner, a filter, an IQ mismatch processor, a gain controller and a demodulator. The tuner tunes radio frequency (RF) signals of a specific channel which includes mobile service data and main service data, converts the tuned RF signals into zero IF signals and outputs the converted zero IF signals. The filter performs low pass filtering for the zero IF signals output from the tuner. The IQ mismatch processor estimates and compensates IQ mismatch generated in the zero IF signals filtered by the filter. The gain controller controls gain of the zero IF signals by estimating a gain error of the zero IF signals output from the IQ mismatch processor. The demodulator performs carrier recovery and timing recovery by receiving the zero IF signals output from the gain controller.

    • The present invention relates to a method of transferring a SMS between countries using different kinds of languages, that is, Mobile Stations (MSs) using different kinds of languages, and a computer-readable recording medium for implementing the SMS transfer method. The present invention provides a method of writing/transmitting a SMS by selecting and inputting a specific one of several foreign languages, which can be input in a receive MS, to transfer a SMS written in a foreign language from a transmit MS using a first language as a main language to the receive MS using a foreign language as a main language through a P2P network in which SMS nodes are independently connected on a country basis. The method includes (1) a foreign language character input program installation step, (2) a message transmission step, (3) a global transmission step and (4) a message reception step. According to the present invention, a global SMS can be transmitted conveniently and economically between countries using different kinds of languages, which was difficult due to the difference in a language structure in the prior art.
