    • Disclosed is a cover opening mechanism (1) for alternatively opening a cover element (D) located on a console about a first cover swivel pin (21) or a second cover swivel pin (22), each of which is formed by a front (21a or 21b) and a rear (22a or 22b) swivel pin element that can be moved relative to one another between a retracted and a deployed position.
