摘要： This invention relates to an optometric testing system (1, 47) that comprises: a test presentation device (7, 53) for presenting optical tests to a subject; a data store (3, 49) for a library of different optometric tests, each said test comprising instructions for providing optical stimuli to a subject; a control module (5, 51 ) responsive to the instructions stored in said data store (3, 49) for a selected test to control the test presentation device (7, 53) to provide the stimuli for that test to the subject; and an input interface (9, 55) operable by the subject to generate signals in response to the stimuli of a selected test that are presented to said subject; said control module (5, 51 ) being configured to receive said signals from said input interface (9, 55) in response to the stimuli of said selected test.
