摘要： An inverse emulsion composition comprising: one or more hydrophobic liquids having a boiling point at least about 100 °C; up to about 38% by weight of one or more acrylamide-(co)polymers; one or more emulsifier surfactants; and one or more inverting surfactants; wherein, when the composition is inverted in an aqueous solution, it provides an inverted solution having a filter ratio using a 1.2 micron filter (FR 1.2) of about 1.5 or less.

摘要： Branched polyglycols and branched polyether functional organopolysiloxanes are disclosed as is a process for making branched polyether functional organopolysiloxanes by reacting an organohydrogensiloxane and a branched polyglycol having an unsaturated group via a hydrosilylation reaction, as well as coating compositions containing branched polyether functional organopolysiloxanes and a binder are disclosed. Coatings resulting from these compositions were more hydrophilic and had improved dirt release properties as compared to coatings containing similar, but un-branched, polyether functional organopolysiloxanes.

摘要： Paper is made from paper stock containing pulp derived from recycled paper fibers by adding to the paper stock, an effective amount of an additive for reducing the deposition of contaminants, the additive one or more silicon containing material(s) selected from the group of: (i) an epoxy and/or glycidoxy functional silane, and/or hydrolysed or condensation reaction products thereof with water, (ii) glycidoxy and/or epoxy functional siloxane and/or hydrolysed or condensation reaction products thereof with water, (iii) a quaternary ammonium functional silicone polymer, and/or hydrolysed or condensed reaction products thereof with water and/or (iv) a quaternary ammonium functional silicone polymer cross-linked by an organic epoxide and/or hydrolysed or condensed reaction products thereof with water and/or (v) an amino functional silane and/or an amino functional silicone and/or hydrolysed or condensed reaction products thereof with water and/or (vi) an alkyl functional silane and/or hydrolysed or condensed reaction products thereof with water; The additive is preferably added in an amount of 0.01-10 percent by weight based on the dry weight of the paper stock.

摘要： A method for preparing a thermoplastic elastomer is disclosed, said method comprising: (I) mixing (A) a rheologically stable polyamide resin having a melting point or glass transition temperature of 25 °C to 275 °C, (B) a silicone base comprising a diorganopolysiloxane gum having a plasticity of at least 30 and having an average of at least 2 alkenyl groups in its molecule and optionally (B") 5 to 200 parts by weight of a reinforcing filler, the weight ratio of said silicone base to said polyamide resin is from 35:65 to 85:15, (C) a compatibilizer selected from glycidyl ester polymers or organofunctional grafted polyolefins, (D) an organohydrido silicon compound which contains an average of at least 2 silicon-bonded hydrogen groups in its molecule and (E) a hydrosilation catalyst, components (D) and (E) being present in an amount sufficient to cure said diorganopolysiloxane (B'); and (II) dynamically curing said diorganopolysiloxane (B').

摘要： Thermoplastic elastomers are disclosed which are prepared by; (I) mixing, (A) a thermoplastic resin comprising more than 50 percent by volume of a polyamide or a polyester resin, (B) a silicone bas comprising; (B') 100 parts by weight of a diorganopolysiloxane gum having a plasticity of at least 30 and having an average of at least 2 alkenyl groups per molecule and (B'') 5 to 200 parts by weight of a reinforcing filler, wherein the weight ratio of said silicone base to said polyamide or polyester resin is from 35:65 to 85:15, (C) a compatibilizer, (D) a radical initiator, present in an amount sufficient to cure said diorganopolysiloxane gum, and optionally (E) a stabilizer, (II) dynamically vulcanizing said diorganopolysiloxanes gum, wherein at least one property of the thermoplastic elastomer selected from tensile strength or elongation is at least 25 % greater than the respective property for a corresponding simple blend wherein said diorganopolysiloxane is not cured and said thermoplastic elastomer has an elongation of at least 25 %.

摘要： Fibers, textiles, and leather are treated by applying to the fibers, textiles, and leather 0.1-15 weight percent based on the weight of the fibers, textiles, or leather of a treatment composition. The treatment composition consists of a blend containing a silicone resin component and a fluorocarbon component. The fluorocarbon component can be at least one of an emulsion containing a fluoroalkyl acrylate copolymer or an emulsion containing a fluorinated polyurethane. The silicone resin component is at least one of (i) an aminofunctional silicone resin, (ii) an emulsion containing an aminofunctional silicone resin, (iii) a carbinol functional silicone resin, (iv) an emulsion containing a carbinol functional silicone resin, (v) an epoxy functional silicone resin, or (vi) an emulsion containing en epoxy functional silicone resin.
