    • The present invention relates to a heat exchange circuit (30) suitable for promoting heat exchange to/from a physiological fluid. The circuit (30) comprises at least two walls (32 and 34) which rest on each other and are sealed so as to form a duct (36) able to contain a flow of physiological fluid. Each one of the at least two walls comprises, during use, a pattern of corrugations (320 and 340). The corrugations have, at least along sections, a preferential direction. The pattern of corrugations of one wall is positioned so as to be superimposed at least partially on the pattern of corrugations of the other wall so as to form an angle γ between the respective preferential directions, γ ranging between 70° and 110°. Finally at least one of the walls is designed to transfer heat to/from the flow of liquid. The invention relates moreover to a thermal device suitable for use together with the heat exchange circuit. The thermal device (50) comprises two plates (52 and 54), at least one of which is thermally active and which are shaped so as to obtain intimate contact with the walls of the heat exchange circuit, at least in the zones coinciding with the respective patterns of corrugations.

    • The present invention relates to a device 20 designed to promote heat exchange to/from a medical liquid ML. The device comprises an inlet 21, an outlet 22 and a duct 23 adapted to contain a flow of the medical liquid ML. The duct is enclosed between two walls 230, 231, has a planar development defining a mean plane π, and comprises means 24 for promoting turbulence in the flow of the liquid ML. At least one wall 230 of the duct is suitable to allow a heat exchange with the flow of the liquid ML. The means for promoting turbulence comprises a plurality of fins 240, wherein each fin 240 n , has a lenticular cross section and defines its own mean plane t n substantially perpendicular to plane π. The invention also relates to a disposable cassette 30 for use in a PD/APD treatment, comprising a polymeric structure defining a first part 31, suitable for pumping and distributing the medical liquid ML, SML, and a second part 32 comprising a device (20) similar to the one described above.

    • The present invention relates to an insert (40) and a vial (30) for the infusion of a liquid (80). The vial (30) comprises a hollow body (31) for storing the liquid (80), a grasp portion (38) and a head (32). The head comprises a delivery opening (33) defining an axis (X), a closing septum (34) suitable for closing the delivery opening; and at least one circumferential push surface (35) defined next to the head by a protrusion. The circumferential push surface is firmly connected to the grasp portion. The insert (40) according to the invention is suitable to delivery the liquid (80) and to receive the insertion along axis (X) of the vial. The insert comprises a main body (41) and an inner part (42). The main body comprises a lateral wall (410) and a lower delivery portion (411) defining a first lower duct (511) and a second lower duct (521). The inner part comprises an inner wall (420) and a piercing spike (421). The inner wall (420) defines a seat (422) suitable to receive the head of the vial, and comprises at least one slit (423) suitable to engage a radially inner portion (350) of the at least one circumferential push surface of the vial. The piercing spike is suitable to pierce the closing septum of the vial and defines a first upper duct (510) and a second upper duct (520). The inner part is housed inside the main body so as to be able to rotate with respect to the latter around axis (X). In particular, the inner part is able to rotate between: a fluidly open configuration A wherein the upper ducts are in fluid communication with the lower ducts; and a fluidly closed configuration (B) wherein the upper ducts are not in fluid communication with the lower ducts.

    • The present invention refers to a tubing set (12) suitable for use in co-operation with a medical liquid delivery device (10). The tubing set comprises: a delivery tube (68) suitable for supplying a medical liquid or blood to a patient; and a vial gate (24) for the connection of vials (26) containing drugs to be delivered into the medical liquid or blood. The vial gate comprises a delivery lumen (28), suitable for delivering the drug (30) from the vial to the delivery tube; and a vent lumen (32), suitable for providing a replacement fluid (34, 60) from a location (20, 64) inside the tubing set (12) to the inside of the vial in order to replace the delivered drug. The vial gate according to the invention further comprises at least one one-way valve (70, 72) placed along said vent lumen or said delivery lumen.
