摘要： Installation (10) for the washing of motor vehicles, of the double gantry type, comprising two mobile gantries (20, 40) suitable for moving forwards and backwards (f), one independently of the other, along a longitudinal path (P), relatively to a vehicle (V), at a standstill,to be washed. The washing installation (10) of the invention has significant improvements in respect of the washing installations, both with double gantry and of another type, currently known, and moreover, advantageously, allows the performing of a series of new and innovative washing cycles (cycle A; B; C), from among which it is possible to select washing cycles (A) including only the use of the first gantry (20), so as to wash completely the vehicle (V) by means only of the jets of water (29a) at high pressure and without the use of rotary brushes, and washing cycles (B, C) including also the use of the second gantry (40), equipped with two vertical brushes (42a, 42b) and a horizontal rotary brush (43).
