摘要： The present invention is directed to a woven fabric having the modified crowsfoot weave pattern shown in Figures 2A and 2B. The present invention is directed to a woven fabric comprising about 65 wt% fiberglass yarn and about 35 wt% bamboo yarn, the woven fabric (1) being about 15.0 ounces per square yard (OSY); (2) having a thread count of about 760; and (3) having the modified crowsfoot weave pattern shown in Figures 2A and 2B. 摘要： Portable coagulation monitoring devices, systems, and methods are disclosed. Namely, a test cartridge is provided for use in a portable coagulation monitor (PCM) device. Further, the test cartridge comprises two glass-filled thermoplastic polymer plates and a disposable blood introduction device. The two glass-filled thermoplastic polymer plates are arranged substantially in parallel with a small gap therebetween for receiving a sample of blood to be tested. Using the PCM device, the two glass-filled thermoplastic polymer plates can be moved linearly relative to each other. Methods of measuring coagulation response in a blood sample using the test cartridge and the PCM device are provided. A method of introducing blood into the test cartridge using the disposable blood introduction device is provided.

摘要： A device, system and method is disclosed in which small volume blood samples are subjected to shear forces and shear stresses between two parallel planar surfaces to which linear motion trajectories are imparted. The formation of clots or coagulation of the sample is measured from dynamic mechanical coupling which occurs between the two parallel planar surfaces. Detection of the coagulation response can be achieved through optical probing or by measurement of physical effects of the blood sample binding to the planar surfaces, and restricting movement thereof.

The beads can be, for example, glass and/or plastic resin beads having a diameter from about 2 mm to about 6 mm. The plasma powder can be, for example, a spray-dried plasma powder. A method is provided of accelerating the reconstitution of a dry protein powder in a fluid that includes, but is not limited to, the steps of providing both a dry protein powder and small beads in a container, adding a reconstitution fluid to the container, and manipulating the dry protein powder and the small beads to dissolve the dry protein powder in the reconstitution fluid.

Additional cofactors such as thrombin and hemostatic agents such as RL platelets, RL blood cells; fibrin, fibrinogen, and combinations thereof may also be incorporated into the textile. The invention is also directed to methods of producing the textile, and methods of using the textile to stop bleeding.
