摘要： For metallurgical reasons, it is of advantage to be able to introduce powder-form fillers at the bottom of a steel laddle. Proposed for this purpose is a refractory component (1) which is inserted in the refractory lining at the bottom of the laddle and has inside it a guide channel (2) in which a refractory plunger (3) moves in the longitudinal direction between fixed limits. In the refractory component (1), near the end (8) of the plunger, is a widened area (12) into which a metal sleeve (10) is inserted and welded to the metal floor (26) of the metal jacket (27). The end (8) of the plunger is surrounded by a metal cap (15) whose walls are grooved. Lubricants such as graphite can be introduced into the grooves (20) of the grooved profile (18) round the cap (15), thus ensuring that the plunger (3) can be displaced in the guide channel (2) with little friction.
