摘要： The present invention relates to an exhaust apparatus for releasable or permanent connection to a personal protection respiratory device that defines a filtered air volume adjacent to the face of a wearer and comprises at least one exhalation valve. The exhaust apparatus comprising a powered blower in fluid connection with the at least one exhalation valve, the blower being operable to draw a portion of the wearer's exhaled breath through the at least one exhalation valve. Using such an exhaust apparatus for releasable connection to a personal protection respiratory device improves the comfort and overall experience for respirator wearers who use the respirator for intensive work, and/or for long periods of time, and/or in hot and humid environmental conditions by removing the heat and moisture build-up inside the respirator.

摘要： A tamper resistant fastener includes a body (10) of substantially circular cross-section having a plurality of depressions (15') formed in its surface. Each depression (15') has a curved concave surface (16') at one end and a curved convex surface (17') at its other end. The depressions are engageable by a tool whereby the fastener can be turned in one direction by the tool to engage the fastener and, once engaged, the fastener can only be turned in the opposite, unfastening direction when engaged by the tool. The fastener may take the form of a nut or a screw or a screw-threaded bolt.

摘要： Briefly, an efficient and scalable processor device is disclosed that uses multivalue voltages for operands, results, and signaling. The number of values used in the multi-value system may be defined for a particular processor system, which typically may be 4, 8, 16, 32, for example. In the multi-value processor, an array of cells is arranged in rows and columns, and one or more multi-value operands are used to select a cell from the array. More particularly, a row driver may be used to select a row of cells, and a column driver is used to select a particular column from the selected row. Once a particular cell is selected, a voltage value associated with that cell is passed as an output. The output is also typically a multi-value result. The multi-value processor is constructed such that the row driver and column driver can be substantially identical, and have a structure that enables significant circuit reuse, provides substantial reduction in size for a circuit layout, has increased layout symmetry, simple scalability, and advantageous power conservation.

The compressed data may be efficiently transmitted to another location, where cooperating decompression processes are used. The compression process first captures a background image, and transmits the background image to a receiver. For each subsequent image, the image is compared at the camera to the background image, and a change file is generated. The change file is then transmitted to the receiver, which uses the background image and the change file to decompress the image. These changes may be aggregated by both the camera and the receiver for even better compression. In some cases, the background may be removed from the displayed image at the receiver, thereby displaying only changing image information, hi this way, a display is less cluttered, enabling more effective human or automated monitoring and assessment of the changing video information.
