The outer skirt (18) has latch hook areas (32A, 32B) configured to disengage the at least one or more latch hook members (30A, 30B). The measuring cup (16) has a stepped shoulder (42A) for engaging the latch hook members (30A, 30B) of the cup base (14). In operation, a force is applied to the latch hook areas (32A, 32B) to disengage the one or more latch hook members (30A, 30B) from the stepped shoulder (42A) and remove the measuring cup (16).

The dispensing closure (10F) includes a closure body (20F) with an upper deck (30F), inner skirt (60F) and outer skirt (40F), and a flow conduit (300F) extending through the upper deck. The flow conduit includes vertically oriented sidewalls (310F, 312F) and a bottom wall (305F). The vertically oriented walls define an entrance orifice (320F) and a fluid trapping area. A partition wall (120F) depending downwardly from said upper deck and restricts flow of product from the entrance orifice to the exit orifice and prevents spurting.

摘要： A closure for dispensing a metered amount of dry product from a container includes a dispensing cap and a metering drum rotatably mounted on the dispensing cap. The dispensing cap has an upper deck with a dispensing aperture and a skirt engaging the neck of the container. The metering drum has an upper deck, a lower deck, and a metering chamber extending therebetween. The metering chamber has an entrance aperture in the lower deck and an exit aperture in the upper deck. The metering drum is rotatable relative to the dispensing cap between a filling position, where the metering chamber is aligned with the dispensing aperture and dry product fills the chamber, and a dispensing position where the metering chamber is not aligned with the dispensing aperture and dry product can be dispensed. The dispensing cap and the metering drum include formations to index a position of the metering drum.

An exit orifice (86) in the tip (94) of the flow conduit is configured to produce the fan-type spray.

The flow conduit (50) and the closure body (46) are integrally formed. The flow conduit includes a tip portion with an exit orifice (48).
