摘要： A multi-use shaving implement (10) includes an elongated handle (12) and swappable razor cartridge (14) and trimmer head (16). The elongated handle has a powered motor (18) that is at least partially located therein. The razor cartridge has at least one elongated blade (36) with a sharpened cutting edge (38) and is removably attachable to the handle. The trimmer head has at least one stationary blade (40), one movable blade (42) and is also removably attachable to the handle when the razor cartridge is not attached to the handle. The trimmer head also includes a prong (46) that extends therefrom. During use of the trimmer, the motor (when activated) is in contact with the prong such that the motor reciprocally moves the prong and, accordingly, the movable blade relative to the stationary blade, thus enabling the user to trim hair.

The first handle portion (12) includes a first molded portion(16) , a second molded portion(20) , and a cavity (22) . A removable cap (14) includes a first molded cap portion (24) and a second molded cap portion (26) . The second molded cap (26) portion forms a sealing ring (28) on the removable cap (14) . The removable cap (14) is selectively detachable to the first handle portion (12) . The sealing ring (28) , when the removable cap (14) is attached to the first handle portion (12) , forms a seal between the removable cap (14) and the first handle portion (12) , preventing water from entering the cavity (22) during normal shaving. Preferably, the first molded cap portion (24) and the first molded portion (16) of the first handle portion (12) are formed simultaneously. Likewise, the second molded cap portion (26) and the second molded portion (20) of the first handle portion (12) are preferably formed simultaneously.
