    • An exposure system for creating a single frame transparency having an enlarger rack (32) with a transparency fixture (60). The fixture includes an inner (100) and outer (70) frame which cooperate to allow incremental relative movement therebetween during an exposure process which results in a single transparency having four independent images, each of the images having spaced apart groups of pixels interlaced with the groups of pixels from each of the other images, each of the images being selectable for projection by a movable grid mask (120). A method for preparing four images from a single transparency is also disclosed. The transparency is formed by sequentially exposing portions of a sheet of film overlayed by a gridlike mask (120), and correspondingly repositioning the mask after each exposure such that a new interlaced area of film is exposed.

A method for preparing multiple images from a single transparency is also disclosed.     • A drive control and interface apparatus housed within an advertising display for driving a stepper motor (46) coupled to a display device (32) to sequentially display a plurality of images. The drive control and interface apparatus include a microprocessor having program memory connected to the motor (46) through a motor driver (42). A drive control program operates the microprocessor to drive the stepper motor to change the image displayed after a corresponding predetermined period of time. The program includes drive routines for fast and slow image changes that drive the stepper motor (46) to minimize resonance. A control interface connects to the microprocessor. The program is responsive to the control interface to permit manual sequencing of the display and user selection of the corresponding display times for each image.
