    • A rotor for a firearm (20) having tracks (22) and locks (24) for interaction with at least one firearm bolt with a rotatable head and carrier body may have a reversible lock structure such that locks (24) may be merely turned around in relation to the rotor when one set of lock bosses (25) is worn by the interaction of the lock and bolts when firing. Drive (26) and delinker (28) gears may also be geometrically keyed to the rotor head (27) and tail (29) to efficiently divide torque across the gears and to maintain correct timing for the firearm.

    • A bolt (50) for a firearm having a rotatable head (58) and carrier body (56) has a twisted polygonal keyed interface between the head (58) and carrier body (56). A neck (57) extending rearward from the head (58) presents the keyed interface with a corresponding bore (55) within the carrier body (56). This construction reduces torque moments between the head (58) and carrier body (56) as compared to prior art bolts. Camming loads on the neck (57) may be constructed with inverses to create space for tolerance and lubricant.
