    • An improved method of installing a closet flange allows installation of plumbing fixtures with a reduced likelihood of leaks. The method involves telescopically fitting an inner or outer surface of a drainpipe to a surface of a cylindrical portion of a hub of a closet flange, where the hub has a base flange extending therefrom; and securing the base flange against the upper surface of a subfloor. A first layer of sealant is applied to an upper surface of the base flange; and a flooring membrane is secured to the upper surface of the base flange by the first layer of sealant. A second layer of sealant is applied to an upper surface of the flooring membrane; and the upper surface of the flooring membrane is clamped between the base flange and a clamping ring. The method may be performed using a two-part closet flange for connection to a drain pipe for a toilet. The two-part closet flange comprises a cylindrical hub adapted to telescopically connect to the drain pipe; an annular flange radially extending from the cylindrical hub; a clamping ring; and a means to clamp a flooring membrane between the clamping ring and the annular flange.

    • A retractor blade assembly includes an arm member, blade connector and a retractor blade having stem member provided at the top of the blade. The stem member includes a first pin member, provided at an upper portion of the stem member. The first pin member has at least one abutment extending outward from the stem member, a first groove provided below the first pin member, a second groove provided below the first groove, provided about the circumference of the stem member, a second pin member having at least one abutment extending from the second groove. The blade connector cooperatively engages the stem member permitting the retractor blade to operate in a rotatable mode and a locked mode.

    • Embodiments of the invention are directed to extended psuedowire groups in a packet switched network. Embodiments associate a pseudowire to one or more groups at each provider edge device across which the pseudowire traverses. When a pseudowire set-up request message traverses across various provider edge devices, each provider edge device typically adds one or more local group membership information elements into the pseudowire set-up request message. In that way the grouping assigned by each provider edge device that the pseudowire traverses is made available to all other provider edge devices traversed by the pseudowire. Advantageously, this availability pseudowire grouping information allows any of these provider edge devices to initiate a wildcard message to notify other provider edge devices with respect to pseudowires in any of its local groups, as well as allowing a pseudowire to be bound to multiple groups based on various requirements.
