摘要： Some embodiments include a method. The method can comprise: providing a carrier substrate; providing an adhesion modification layer over the carrier substrate; providing a device substrate; and coupling the device substrate and the carrier substrate together, the adhesion modification layer being located between the device substrate and the carrier substrate when the device substrate and the carrier substrate are coupled together. In these embodiments, the adhesion modification layer can be configured so that the device substrate couples indirectly with the carrier substrate by way of the adhesion modification layer with a first bonding force that is greater than a second bonding force by which the device substrate couples with the carrier substrate absent the adhesion modification layer. Other embodiments of related methods and devices are also disclosed.

摘要： Some embodiments include a club head for adjusting vertical spin of a golf ball. Other embodiments of related systems and methods are also disclosed. The golf club head comprises a club head body and a weighting mechanism. The weighting mechanism comprises a first configuration and a second configuration. When the weighting mechanism is configured in the first configuration, a golf ball breaks contact with the golf club head (i) with a first vertical spin rate, (ii) with a first horizontal spin rate, and (iii) with a first horizontal spin direction. When the weighting mechanism is configured in the second configuration, the golf ball breaks contact with the golf club head (i) with a second vertical spin rate, (ii) with approximately the first horizontal spin rate, and (iii) with approximately the first horizontal spin direction. Further, the second vertical spin rate is different than the first vertical spin rate.

摘要： A prosthetic component suitable for long-term implantation is provided. The prosthetic component includes electronic circuitry and sensors to measure a parameter of the muscular-skeletal system. The prosthetic component comprises a first structure having at least one support surface, a second structure having at least one feature configured to couple to bone, and at least one sensor. The electronic circuitry and sensors are hermetically sealed within the prosthetic component. The prosthetic component includes at least on transmissive region. The transmissive region can be located in a region that has exposure to a region outside the joint. The transmissive region can comprise glass. One or more sensors can be used to monitor synovial fluid in proximity to the joint to determine joint health. The transmissive region can be used to support communication between the electronic circuitry and remote system.

摘要： In some embodiments, a cover configured to be detachably secured to multiple objects having irregular shapes. The cover includes a spheroid having a hollow interior and a wall. The wall includes an outer surface, an inner surface, and an aperture providing an opening through the wall into the hollow interior. The spheroid is configured to be altered from a relaxed state to a deformed state without permanently deforming the spheroid. When the spheroid is in the relaxed state, the hollow interior has a first greatest dimension and the aperture has a second greatest dimension smaller than the first greatest dimension. When the spheroid is in the deformed state, the spheroid is configured to conform to any object of the multiple objects and to provide a seal for the object of the multiple objects. When the spheroid is in the deformed state, the spheroid is capable of providing forces in three dimensions such that the spheroid is capable of gripping the object in the three dimensions. Other embodiments are disclosed.
