Embodiments of the present invention may include, for example, compiling historical usage based on the use or measurements detected by a network device and generating a usage profile based on that use or measurements. The normal usage profile may be compared with the usage over a certain predetermined period of time to detect any abnormal use or measurements from the network device, and an action may be taken as a result of an abnormality.

The apparatus can include: (a) a processing module configured to run on a computational unit; and (b) a sensing unit configured to be coupled to a gas regulator, the sensing unit having: (1) at least one acoustic sensor configured to detect two or more acoustic signals produced by the gas regulator and convert the two or more acoustic signals into one or more first data signals; and (2) a transmitter electrically coupled to the at least one acoustic sensor and configured to transmit the one or more first data signals to the computational unit. The processing module is configured to use the one or more first data signals to determine the gas usage. Other embodiments are disclosed.

摘要： In some embodiments, a method of placing and receiving a telephone call can include: determining that a mobile device has been coupled to a docking station while communicating audio for the telephone call using the mobile device and a wireless telephone network; communicating to a server that the mobile device has been coupled to the docking station; requesting that the server facilitate transfer of the telephone call from the wireless telephone network to a wired network; receiving incoming audio for the telephone call using the docking station and the wired network; and sending outgoing audio for the telephone call using the docking station and the wired network. The audio for the telephone call can include the incoming audio and the outgoing audio. Other embodiments are disclosed.
