摘要： A drug infusion device includes a drug delivery module which delivers a drug in each of a series of sequential time slots over a period of time. The drug delivery module is controlled by a controller which is configured to cause the drug delivery module to deliver said drug in the series of sequential time slots in a manner defined by a formula in which a quantitative characteristic of drug delivery in each time slot is a function of a past drug delivery profile and at least one of: a) a medical professional-provided profile, b) a patient-chosen parameter, and c) a non-variable parameter. The formula may be a function of a medical professional-provided profile and a non-variable parameter may be a parameter chosen by a medical professional. The past drug delivery profile may include a drug delivery parameter in a previous time slot.

摘要： The disclosure describes a method and a system that may be used to provide feedback on the progress of ablation therapy. The system includes a first needle that penetrates a target tissue to deliver radio frequency energy, with or without a conductive fluid, that heats and ablates the target tissue and a second needle that penetrates the target tissue and detects a tissue property indicative of the ablation progress. Temperature, impedance, or another parameter may be the tissue property detected and measured by the system. In addition, more than one sensor may be positioned on the first or second needle. The system may provide real-time monitoring of the tissue property or use the tissue property measurement to automatically terminate the ablation therapy. In particular, the system may be used to treat benign prostatic hypertrophy.

摘要： The present invention includes methods and devices for mass producing cooked, cooled egg products having a grill fried egg appearance. One device includes a portion for positioning whole, intact, shelled eggs positioned laterally across and above a cooking mold conveyor, and a portion for cracking the eggshells and depositing the eggs into cooking molds on the conveyor. Some devices and methods include an egg yolk splitter for rupturing the egg yolk sac to deposit a whole egg having a ruptured egg yolk into each mold. Other devices and methods include irregular shaped egg molds for providing a mass produced cooked egg having a natural, irregular shaped outlines and/or surfaces. Devices and methods according to the present invention can be used to produce irregular, outlined shaped cooked egg products including whole eggs, formulated eggs, or eggs made from scrambled egg mixes. The pre-cooked eggs can be delivered pathogen free to fast food establishments and reheated for consumers in less time than required to cook the egg.

摘要： The disclosure is directed to a pressure sensor (26) of an implantable medical device (16). The pressure sensor may utilize detect fluid pressure based on a changing capacitance between two capacitive elements. The pressure sensor may define at least a portion of a fluid enclosure of the IMD. In one example, the pressure sensor has a self - aligning housing shape that occludes an opening in the pump bulkhead (14) of the IMD. An operative surface of the pressure and the portion of the fluid enclosure may be formed of a corrosion resistant and/or biocompatible material. A first capacitive element of the pressure sensor may be a metal alloy diaphragm that deflects in response to external fluid pressure. A second capacitive element of the pressure sensor may be a metal coating on a rigid insulator sealed from the fluid by the diaphragm and a housing of the sensor.
