    • The invention relates to a jointing device for producing a joint assembly, a push-through jointing method and a push-through joint assembly between a first workpiece (2) and a second workpiece (3). The device has a die (4) that can be introduced into the recess of a swage (5). The first workpiece (2) is pressed from above and is given a pot-shape that presses into the second workpiece (3) and shapes it in a downwards direction without any cutting. The shape of the first workpiece forms an undercut with the second workpiece (3). The peripheral wall of the recess of the device has wall sections (10) that are disposed on levers (11). The levers can be moved into a working position by exerting pressure from above and can be fixed in said position, forming undercut areas. The levers (11) can be moved into a release position by moving the joined workpieces (2,3) in an upward direction, whereby the undercut areas are released entirely.

    • A method and apparatus for joining together two or more superimposed generally planar sheets by setting a fastener in engagement with the sheets at a predetermined location. The sheets are superimposed and placed in a fastener setting and sheet deforming assembly. The assembly is then operated to set a fastener into the sheet and to deform the sheets out of their planes around the predetermined locations. The sheets may be deformed before the fastener is set, after the fastener is set, or simultaneously with setting of the fastener. Sheet deformation may be achieved using appropriate clamping arrangements or by providing recesses into which the sheets are deformed during the course of rivet insertion. The invention also relates to a rivet for use in the method.

    • A cornerbead crimping tool (10) for crimping cornerbead to wallboard is presented which comprises in a first embodiment a handle portion (12), an intermediate air cylinder portion (16) and a crimping head portion (18) which together form the crimping tool.     • A compression moulding tool comprises an upper part (3) and a lower part (2) connected by guides (4).
