摘要： A method for determining an appropriate redemption presentation for a virtual token associated with a stored value account is disclosed. The method may include receiving a request for presenting a redemption presentation of a virtual token and obtaining a merchant identifier associated with the request. The method may further include determining if the request is for one of an on-line transaction and a transaction with a point-of-sale terminal, and if the request is for a transaction with a point-of-sale terminal, then searching a database using the merchant identifier to find one or more redemption presentations of virtual token preferred by a merchant. Subsequently, the one or more redemption presentations of the virtual token may be transmitted over a computer network to a client device.

摘要： Embodiments of systems, methods, and machine-readable media are disclosed for enabling a mobile device having near-field communication (NFC) capabilities to be used as fare media at access control points of a transit system. Embodiments can include receiving a request for activation information from the mobile device to enable the device to transmit an identification code using NFC capabilities. Embodiments further include associating a funding source with the identification code and transmitting the activation information to the mobile device. The identification code can then be transmitted from the mobile device to an access control point, and a determination of whether to allow or deny passage of a user at the access control point can be made. The determination can be based, at least in part, on whether the identification code is included on a list. A transaction can then be associated with the identification code; and a value of the transaction can be reconciled with the funding source.

摘要： Secure management of electronic transactions is provided by a system server that is communicatively coupled to terminals configured as thin client devices (TCD) and to one or more application servers. A TCD completes a secure communications link with the system server, and transfers information concerning the identity of a user and account information from a secure transaction card (STC). Upon authentication, the system server drives the display of available applications at the TCD, allowing the user to select and engage in a desired transaction with the application server hosting the selected application. During the transaction, the system server brokers communications according to the different security schemes used by the TCD and the application server and, ultimately, stores a transaction ticket that memorializes the transaction. The transaction ticket can later be retrieved by presenting appropriate authentication information.
