    • A method of producing a catalyst comprising: mixing catalytic particles and a solvent, thereby forming a mixture; performing a size distribution analysis on the mixture to determine a size distribution profile; repeating the mixing of the mixture if the size distribution profile is below a threshold; centrifuging the mixture if the size distribution profile is at or above the threshold, thereby forming a supernate and a precipitate, wherein the supernate comprises a dispersion including the catalytic particles and the solvent; decanting the mixture, separating the supernate from the precipitate; determining the particle content of the separated supernate; determining a volume of the dispersion to be applied to a catalyst support based on one or more properties of the catalyst support; and impregnating the catalyst support with the catalytic particles in the dispersion by applying the volume of the dispersion to the catalyst support.

    • An insulated concrete form has: a first side wall portion; a second side wall portion substantially parallel with said first side wall portion; and a pillar portion extending between said the side wall portions. The pillar portion has: a first tapered section; a second tapered section; and a center section extending between said tapered sections. The first tapered section, the second tapered section and the center section each have an octagonal-shaped longitudinal cross-section. The insulated concrete form may include a plurality of pillar portions extending between the side wall portions, with the plurality of pillar portions being substantially parallel with each other. A wall structure may be formed from a plurality of such insulated concrete forms. A mold for forming an insulated concrete form, has: a first side plate and a second side plate; a slave pallet element supported by a frame and abutting a lower portion of interior sides of the side plates; and a first spine member and a second spine member attached to the side plates. The first side plate and the second side plate, along with the first spine member and the second spine member, may be pulled horizontally outward to clear the mold cavity.

    • The invention is related to a device for the continuous mixing of lightconcrete comprising density decreasing particles, concrete and water, characterised by an elongated mixing chamber (1) in which a screw (4) is rotatably arranged around the central axis (5) of the cylinder (1). The screw is provided with two parts, a first transporting screw part (6) and a second combined transporting and mixing screw part (7). At the free end of the transporting screw part (6), a first feeding device (13) for the supply of density decreasing particles is arranged, and at the transition between the two different screw parts (6,7), a second feeding device (14) for the supply of a concrete/water mixture is arranged. The density decreasing particles are transported by means of the transporting screw part (6) into the combined transporting and mixing screw part (7), in order to be mixed therein into a homogenous mass of at least density decreasing particles, concrete and water, and wherein at the same time, the mass is output from the free end of the combined transporting and mixing screw part (7). The invention is further related to a method of continuous mixing, and the use of a combined transporting and mixing screw.
