摘要： The present invention relates to an image encoding/decoding method using block transform and an apparatus thereof and provides an image encoding apparatus. In the image encoding apparatus, each pixel in the current block of an image is encoded before the current block is encoded. The image encoding apparatus encodes an image by using and predicting at least one pixel adjacent to each pixel in a determined prediction direction, wherein the current block has L X M dimensions and the L value is not equal to the M value. According to the invention, the pixels in the block can be predicted from the most adjacent pixel in a spatial prediction direction. Therefore, compression efficiency can be improved by increasing the prediction accuracy of the blocks. In addition, an image can be encoded and decoded efficiently through improvement of the compression efficiency.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and to an apparatus for generating a reference frame, and to a method and to an apparatus for image encoding/decoding using same. The apparatus for generating a reference frame according to the present invention comprises: an interpolation unit for interpolating a reference frame by fractional pixel units; a virtual encoding unit for determining a block mode of the present frame and a motion vector according to the block mode by using the interpolated reference frame; an offset calculation unit for calculating an offset for each pixel of the interpolated reference frame by using the block mode and the motion vector; and an offset adding unit for adding offsets for each pixel to each pixel of the interpolated reference frame to generate an offset interpolated reference frame. The present invention adds the offset calculated in accordance with the block mode to the reference frame for inter-prediction to make the reference frame to be used in a motion estimation and compensation similar to the present frame to be encoded, thereby improving the accuracy of prediction, and thus improving encoding efficiency and compression efficiency.
