    • A system for placing objects on a surface. The system may include a base (110), a robotic arm (120) coupled, at an end thereof, to the base (110), an end effector (130) coupled to the other end of the robotic arm (120). The end effector (130) may be configured for releaseably coupling to an object (101) to be placed on the surface. The system may further include one or more sensor units (150) on a sensor frame. The one or more sensor units (150) may be configured for sensing a two-dimensional profile data including at least two two- dimensional profiles together comprising at least three boundary portions of the object (101) to be placed and at least three boundary portions of objects on the surface. At least two of the three boundary portions of the object to be placed may be from substantially non- parallel sides. At least two of the three boundary portions of the objects on the surface may be from substantially non-parallel sides. The system may further include a processor configured to determine at least three degrees of freedom of the object (101) to be placed with respect to the sensor frame and six degrees of freedom of the sensor frame with respect to the objects on the surface in a three- dimensional space for determining a current pose of the object (101) to be placed with respect to the objects on the surface based on the two-dimensional profile data. Further, the system may be configured to place the object (101) based on differences between the current pose and a desired pose of the object to be placed determined from a model of objects on the surface in the three-dimensional space.

    • A tile leveller and spacer system that allows rapid and reliable spacing and levelling of tools is described. The tile spacer comprises a base for locating the spacer under the tiles, and a stem that includes an alignment cross which is used to correctly space the tiles. The stem tile spacer is placed over the stem and engages with teeth on the stem. The tile leveller is pushed down over the stem to level the tiles between the base and the bottom of the tile leveller. The stem further comprises a frangible portion located between the base and the tile alignment portion, and when the stem is pulled with sufficient force, the frangible portion breaks to allow removal of the stem. A hand tool may be used to assist in this process. The hand tool can have an adjustable stop which can be set to a first setting to level the tiles, and a second setting to cause the frangible portion to break, allowing removal of the stem and leveller.

    • The invention relates to a blade holder for sharpening and fining down a substrate, having a handle, a recess with a recess chamber (5) for a blade (2), wherein the blade has a larger blade side surface (11) and, behind with respect to the cutting direction, a narrow side (12) with a cutting edge (8), and having a positioning aide for positioning the blade holder on the substrate, wherein the positioning aide has a distancing device (7) by means of which the blade (8) can be arranged in a distanced position in the recess in such a manner that the blade can be positioned with the cutting edge thereof distanced from the substrate for the processing of the substrate. In addition, the invention relates to a method and a blade for the blade holder. A specific advantage is a relief (23) produced by grinding in the cutting direction (s) in front of the cutting edge (8) in the blade side surface facing the substrate when the blade is in the operational position. The relief is arranged in a cutting order behind the cutting edge. The relief is introduced into a recess in the blade side surface, thereby reducing the friction of the blade on the substrate and thus the force required for displacing the grooving cutter across the substrate. It furthermore enables the blade to "stick" to the substrate when a smooth substrate is treated.
