    • A kitchen gun system for dispensing edible liquid ingredients as required for cooking. The kitchen gun system includes a plurality of pumps, each having an inlet and an outlet. Packages of edible liquid ingredients are attached to the inlets of the pumps. The outlets of the pumps are connected to a plurality of manifold inputs of a manifold. A plurality of manifold outputs is connected to a hand-held dispensing gun. The dispensing gun has a plurality of control mechanisms corresponding to at least the plurality of inputs on the manifold. Selected edible liquid ingredients may be selectively dispensed from the dispensing gun when desired by operating the respective control mechanisms on the dispensing gun. The kitchen gun system is suitable for use in a kitchen in a commercial establishment and includes sources of highly concentrated liquid precursor for stock, cooking oils and wines, lemon juice, and other liquids. These liquids are pumped to a hand-held gun and, if necessary, mixed with water in a desired concentration while being dispensed as required.

    • The present invention relates to a self supporting closed beverage container (1) of a paper based material (2) composed of a carton for comprising a low-carbonate beverage, wherein said beverage container comprises: - at least one inner liquid sealant polymeric layer (4) welded to the paper based material; and/or - an inner bag (11) for holding a beverage and which inner bag (11) has a deformable wall part which is compressible, for dispensing beverages from the container upon deformation of the flexible wall part caused by gas pressure produced by pressure means (12); and the beverage container (1) comprises: - at least one beverage delivering tube (5) having at least one flexible section, - at least one beverage outlet opening (6) through which a lower part (7) of said beverage delivering tube (5) extends to the bottom (8) of the inner beverage container (1) and the upper part of the tube extends outwards (9), - at least one gas pressure inlet opening (10); wherein said self supporting closed beverage container (1) can in an empty stage be folded by hand and beverage can be delivered through the beverage delivering tube (5) due to gas pressure fed into the beverage container (1), the tube (5) beingconnected with the beverage container (1) in a gas and liquid tight manner, so that beverage cannot leak from the beverage outlet opening (6) of the beverage container (1).

    • An apparatus has a valve body defining a first passageway, a valve seat, and a flow aperture extending through the valve body and coupled in fluid communication with the first passageway. A valve cover of the apparatus is formed of an elastic material and includes a cover base mounted on the valve body and fixedly secured against movement relative thereto, and a valve portion overlying the valve seat. The valve portion defines a predetermined radial thickness and forms an interference fit with the valve seat. The valve portion and the valve seat define a normally closed, axially-extending valve opening therebetween. The valve portion is movable between a normally closed position with the valve portion engaging the valve seat, and an open position with at least a segment of the valve portion spaced away from the valve seat to connect the valve opening in fluid communication with the flow aperture to thereby allow the passage of fluid from the flow aperture through the valve opening. A hermetically sealed variable-volume storage chamber stores therein multiple portions of the fluid and is connectible in fluid communication with the one-way valve assembly. A pump is coupled between the variable-volume storage chamber and the one-way valve assembly, and is configured to pump discrete portions of fluid from the variable­volume storage chamber, through the flow aperture, and through the valve opening to dispense the portions of fluid through the valve assembly.

    • A coupling apparatus for fluid dispensing with a disposable connector on the fluid line or fluid dispensing system side. The coupling apparatus includes an insert body (20) that is connectable with a disposable connector device (30). The insert body (20) includes a recess area (23) defined between a first inner sidewall (28) and a second inner sidewall (26).
