    • Device enabling handicapped persons, aged or with reduced mobility, to get in and come out of a bath-tub in an autonomous and effortless manner. The device is comprised of a guiding column (1) connected to the ceiling and to the floor by means of collars (3) and (5), wherein a supporting assembly (7) may slide, said supporting assembly being comprised of a U-profile or C-profile upright to which is fixed a round or square tube fitted with guiding rings (8) and a jack (9) supplied with current water and mounted downwardly facing the floor and fitted with a cheek (12) and a roller (13) and, on the other side, a yoke (17) housing the support arm (16) receiving the seat (20) or flap seat. A tube (21) or a handle fixed to the wall may be used as a holding point for the user in order to orientate the seat. The lifting of the seat is carried out by putting the control handle (14) in the ''up'' position, thus supplying the rear portion of the jack which is bearing on the floor on roller (13). On said bearing point, the rod of the jack comes out and lifts the seat in a high position. The user turns by 90 DEG and sets the control on ''down'' which supplies the jack and discharges the water contained in the rear portion of the jack, thereby lowering the seat. To come out, the user does again the same operation.
