    • The invention relates to control means for rodents, preferably rats and mice, and specifically to rodent extermination devices, and is intended for the combined protection of various sites from rats both by the active prevention of attempts by rats to enter the site protected by the device and by means of the combined physicobiological action on rats to drive the rats from their habitats. The essence of the invention is as follows: an electrical rodent extermination device, which comprises high-voltage electrodes which are connected to an electrical power supply source via a high-voltage transformer, a pulse generator, and a power supply unit, additionally comprises a discharge and storage unit which is connected to the output of the high-voltage transformer and to which the high-voltage electrodes are connected, via ozone-generating spark gaps, so as to form ozone-generating spark gap/high-voltage electrode pairs in series, and the high-voltage transformer used is a resonant high-voltage transformer. The technical result consists in increasing the operating efficiency of an electrical rodent extermination device and in reducing energy consumption.

This device may be constituted by a part of the trap.
