    • Systems, methods, and apparatuses for wireless communication are described. Multiple latency modes may be concurrently supported. Available resources and parameters for communication according to one latency mode may be determined with respect to resources used for another latency mode. One of the latency modes may employ transmission time intervals (TTIs) that are shorter in duration relative to the other latency mode. A transport block size or a modulation and coding scheme for shorter duration TTIs may be determined by reference to resources of longer duration TTIs. Multiple shorter duration TTIs may be scheduled in a single grant or may be individually scheduled; or a combination of multi- and individual-TTI scheduling may be employed. Scheduling may be UE-specific and may be dynamically indicated. The scheduling interpretation may depend on the location of a shorter duration TTI with respect to resources of a longer duration TTI.

    • There is provided a solution for operating signalling radio bearers in a network node of a cellular communication system. According to an aspect, a method comprises: establishing, in a network node of a cellular communication system, a first signalling radio bearer for a terminal device; establishing, in the network node, a second signalling radio bearer for the terminal device as a back-up signalling radio bearer for the first signalling radio bearer, wherein the second signalling radio bearer is routed between the network node and the terminal device via a different route than the first signalling radio bearer and through at least one mediating network node; and in response to detecting, by the network node, a determined event in characteristics of the first signalling radio bearer, causing transmission of a downlink control message to the terminal device over the second signalling radio bearer without reconfiguration of the second signalling radio bearer between said detecting and said transmission.

    • Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods, apparatuses and computer program for control signal transmission and reception. A method implemented at a network device comprises; determining a first period and a first plurality of candidate transmission opportunities within the first period, for transmitting a first control signal through a wireless channel; selecting a candidate transmission opportunity from the first plurality of candidate transmission opportunities within the first period; and transmitting the first control signal through the wireless channel to a terminal device using the selected candidate transmission opportunity. By virtue of the method, probability for a successful transmission of the first control signal can be increased.
