    • A pressure casting material having hologram or diffraction grating which is composed of a cross-linking polymer resin (2) having a relief of hologram or diffraction grating and a base material (1) made of a solid matter. This material can be obtained by bonding the cross-linking polymer resin (2) onto the surface of the solid matter (1) by pressure casting using a material having a relief of hologram or diffraction grating, and separating the material having the relief of hologram or diffraction grating from the resin layer after the resin layer is solidified. Furthermore, a metal layer (3) is formed on the pressure casting material and a protective layer (4) can be deposited thereon. Since this material has both corrosion resistance and aging resistance, it can be used suitably for the decoration of high class buildings, all industrial products and artistic handicrafts.

    • A method of producing an embossing machine roller comprises, the steps of first producing a master roller (21), by any desired method, which carries on overall relief image (22), then casting a hallow intermediate mould (24) around the master roller to form an inverted relief image, removing the intermediate mould (24), and finally using the intermediate mould (24), to form the outer surface (29) of a cylindrical outer layer (28) of a relatively soft resilient material on a solid mandrel (26).     • A method for forming an embossed holographic pattern comprises the following steps: A. recording the required pattern onto a photo-sensitive plate by means of laser holography to produce an optical mask plate for the holographic pattern; B. duplicating the laser holographic information on the optical mask plate onto a metal plate, to produce a metal plate for the holographic pattern; C. transferring the laser holographic pattern on the metal plate onto an information layer on a water soluble film, to form an embossed holographic water transfer printing film; D. carrying out a cubic water transfer printing on the surface of a base material by using the embossed holographic water transfer printing film, to form the holographic pattern on the surface of the base material. With the method for forming the embossed holographic pattern according to the present invention, a holographic pattern can be formed on the surface of work-piece having a complex shape.
