摘要： A lighting device comprising: a first radio transceiver for connection to at least one further lighting device via a first wireless network; a second radio transceiver for connection to a network device via a second wireless network; a memory storing credentials assigned for use by the second transceiver for communication with the network device; and a control module configured to: detect that the lighting device is to operate as a bridge, instead of a further lighting device, to allow data to be exchanged between the at least one further lighting device and the network device; obtain credentials that have been established for use by the further lighting device to communicate with the second network; and modify the credentials stored in memory such that the credentials associated with the further lighting device are assigned for use by the second transceiver, thereby configuring the lighting device to operate as the bridge.

摘要： An illumination device comprising an illumination source, a communications module and a power supply for powering the illumination source and communications module. In a standby mode, the power to the communications module is restricted to a standby power limit. The illumination device further comprises an energy buffer arranged to buffer the energy supplied from the power supply to the communications module during the standby mode. A controller of the communications module is configured to adapt the scheduling of communication operations in dependence on a measure or estimate of the amount of energy currently stored in the energy buffer, at least by delaying one or more of the communication operations which require more than the standby power limit to perform until the energy measured or estimated to be stored in the energy buffer is great enough to perform these one or more communication operations without exceeding the standby power limit.

摘要： Systems and methods are described which enhance an outdoor playing experience utilising wearable devices and controllable lighting. The system comprises a lighting controller for controlling illumination emitted by one or more lighting components of a lighting system to accompany a game played by multiple mobile players, each player carrying a wearable device having a communication interface for communication position related information of the player to the lighting controller, wherein the lighting controller is configured to perform operations of: accessing a set of lighting rules, the set of lighting rules specifying lighting output mapped to game events or states that can occur within the game; receiving input signals generated at the wearable devices of the players to identify a game state or event based on position related information of the players; and based on the accessed set of lighting rules for the identified state or event, controlling the lighting components to deliver the specified lighting output.
