摘要： A method for estimating wear of a polymer drive belt of a continuously variable transmission (CVT) provided in a vehicle is disclosed. The method comprises: determining a first belt wear-affecting factor based on at least one first operating parameter of the vehicle; determining a second belt wear-affecting factor based on at least one second operating parameter of the vehicle; applying the first and second wear-affecting factors to a belt wear-representative parameter to obtain an adjusted belt wear-representative parameter; and adjusting a total belt wear-representative parameter based on the adjusted belt wear-representative parameter to obtain an updated total belt wear-representative parameter. A vehicle having an electronic control unit configured to perform the method is also disclosed.

摘要： A footrest assembly for mounting to a vehicle rail. A position of the assembly along the rail is adjustable. A footrest is connected to a rail mount to be pivotable about a footrest pivot axis between an adjustment position allowing adjustment of the assembly along the rail and a locked position. A clamping member, movable by the footrest relative to the rail mount, is in a releasing position when the footrest is in the adjustment position and in a clamping position when the footrest is in the locked position. When the clamping member is in the clamping position and the assembly is mounted to the rail, a portion of the clamping member and a portion of the rail mount are disposed on opposite sides of the rail and the clamping member applies a clamping pressure to the rail. The locked position sets the position of the assembly along the rail.

The method of assembling the frame includes inserting the projection into the slot, contacting the connection portions to each other to form the connection region with the members being positioned for connection with their axes disposed at a non-zero angle to each other, and connecting the connection portions.
