摘要： The present invention relates to a method of repairing a fibre composite solid member having a locally deteriorated surface area, such as having cracks or creases. The solid member may e.g. be a mould for the manufacturing of wind turbine blades or such blades. The method comprises machining a surface section comprising the locally deteriorated surface area in order to obtain a recess having a predefined depth and circumferential shape, placing a repair patch having a predefined thickness and circumferential shape matching the recess in the recess, and fastening the repair patch to the solid member by use of a binder material. At least some of the elastic and thermal properties of the repair patch and the binder material are so that after fastening, the repair patch and the binder material in combination have elastic and thermal properties which are substantially the same as the corresponding properties of the surface section before machining.

摘要： A mixture of a carrier and binder component and polymer powders is provided as a molding composition for sealing rotational molds or for reinforcing selected areas of rotationally molded parts. The carrier and binder component can be very low density polyethylene, petroleum jelly, hydrocarbon wax, hydrocarbon tackifier, or mixtures thereof, and the polymer powders are thermoplastics having a low melt index. The molding composition is applied to selected areas of the rotational mold, such as to the mating flanges of the mold halves to seal the parting line of the mold, or to areas within the mold where it is desired to have reinforced regions of greater wall thickness, such as ribs or bosses.

摘要： In order to provide a mold pin-separable fixing apparatus having a structure for effective maintenance and repairing of a mold pin, the present invention provides a mold pin-separable fixing apparatus which comprises: a hollow main body case in which a sliding surface is rounded and expanded to the inner circumference of one end of the main body case and a mold device coupling unit is provided at one side of the outer circumference of the main body case; a fixing unit is arranged along the inner circumference of the main body case in order to enable linear movement, wherein an accommodating groove which accommodates a head portion of the mold pin is formed at a front end portion of the fixing unit and a fixture-restraining hole is formed at an edge portion of the accommodating groove; a fixture which is inserted inside the fixture-restraining hole so that one side of the fixture is exposed, restrains and fixes the stepped portion of the head portion of the mold pin by the exposed one side, and releases the restraining state of the stepped portion of the head portion of the mold pin since the fixing unit moves to a sliding surface side when the rear surface of the fixture-restraining hole is in contact with the sliding surface by moving the fixing unit to the front side of the main body case; and a linear movement unit which is connected to a rear end portion of the fixing unit in order to allow selective linear movement of the fixing unit by outside force.

摘要： The polyethylene caulking composition of the invention is a mixture of a carrier and binder component and polyethylene powder. The carrier and binder component is a liquid hydrocarbon oil. The polymer is finely subdivided polyethylene, preferably ultra high molecular weight, having a low melt index, no greater than 30. The composition is thixotropic with a consistency of toothpaste, typically having a stirred viscosity up to 30,000 centipoise at ambient temperature, which is suitable for use as a caulking composition. The caulking composition of the invention can be extruded at low pressures through a caulking gun or from a squeeze tube to plug vent holes or perforations in molded, hollow-form polyethylene parts, or applied as a caulk onto the flange surfaces of rotational molds.
