摘要： A method of forming a structural honeycomb includes cutting and folding a substrate sheet according to predetermined cutting and folding patterns and fold angles that cause the sheet to form a honeycomb having cells that each have at least one face abutting, or nearly abutting, the face of another cell. The honeycomb is then stabilized by joining abutting, or nearly abutting, faces to hold the honeycomb together. The honeycomb may have a prespecified three-dimensional shape. The folding pattern may include corrugation, canted corrugation, or zig-zag folds. Joining may employ fixed and/or reversible joinery, including slotted cross section, tabbed strip, angled strip, integral skin, sewn, or laced. At least some folds may be partially-closed to create bends and twists in the honeycomb structure. Some surfaces of the honeycomb may be covered with a skin or face sheet. The substrate sheet may have flexible electronic traces.

摘要： A combustible sky lantern includes a combustible base frame and a combustible hot air balloon. The combustible base frame includes a combustion carrier and an envelope-connecting rim. The combustion carrier combustion carrier is used for positioning fixedly a combustible object to be ignited as a flame source. The envelope-connecting rim is connected with the combustion carrier. The combustible hot air balloon, fixed to the envelope-connecting rim, is to contain thereinside a heated air generated by burning the combustible object. After a fire at the combustible object spreads to the combustion carrier, the fire would further spread orderly to the envelope-connecting rim and the combustible hot air balloon.

摘要： A filtering assembly for enhancing lighting from a luminaire serves as a lighting filter that includes one or more stackable and interchangeable filter devices. The filter devices are configured to detachably couple to a luminaire, and custom block a portion of the light transmitted from the luminaire. This enables a uniquely shaped transmission of light and/or removing unwanted spills and or glare emanating from the luminaire. The filter devices comprise a body that defines a clear section that allows full passage of light from the underlying luminaire, and an opaque section that allows partial or no passage of light. The filter devices also comprise an outer rim having a friction enhancing material that enables a snug engagement with the perimeter recess forming in the luminaire. The friction enhancing material of the outer rim restricts slippage when stacking multiple filter devices, and with the inside perimeter recess formed in the luminaire.
